Dual hydraulic shaker for testing
The system consists of two hydraulic shakers operating in a push-pull configuration.
The TWINS system has been specifically designed to test underframes in the railway sector, but it can be
configured by request for other testing needs on samples with high mass, even with base mounting.
The grid plate is designed to be rotated, allowing the test axis to be changed without having to disassemble the
sample, thus saving considerable setup time.
The machine is located in a dedicated Lab room: where there is also a system suitable for similar tests on the
vertical axis, an overhead travelling crane and full access to the laboratory.
