Linear Engine Shock Machines

Our mechanical design department is also dedicated to conceive special projects and special machines.

Lo.F.Hi.S. (Low Frequency High Stroke and Velocity Shaker) is a system based on the new linear motor technology.
A table moved by linear motors, it’s something really new in vibration test area.
The linear motors give to the machine the possibility to have ideally no limits on the stroke, very high velocity and very accurate control at low frequency from static positioning up to 500 Hz (The system allows to reach very low frequencies with no distortion even since 0,1 Hz.)

The machine is particularly indicated to make long duration shocks like the military standard 20g 100ms or seismic simulation.
Also low frequency seismic accelerometers can be calibrated with this technology at a very low frequency due to the long stroke and accuracy of the control that minimize waveform distortion.

To perform those testings requiring low frequency, high stroke and high velocity we have a Lo.F.Hi.S. installed in our Test House.

Our system has the following features:
