Avionics products must comply with national and international standards of their own market which also prescribe environmental tests. On one hand, these test have the purpose to verify the functioning of the devices in environmental conditions which simulate the real conditions of use; on the other hand the tests aim at accelerating the aging process of the test items to verify if its functioning conditions are unvaried at the end of its life.
